What is a Diaper Cake? A Diaper Cake consists mainly of diapers, either rolled or wrapped, made to resemble a tiered wedding cake. Baby products such as teethers, bibs, washcloths, blankets, booties, baby bottles, rattles and more are added to create a dazzling presentation. The diaper cake is then embellished with flowers and ribbons and carefully wrapped.
Which brand and type of diapers do you use? We use Pampers Swaddlers Size 1 diapers for the smaller cakes (1 or 2 tiered) and will use a combination of Sizes 1 & 2 diapers for the larger diaper cakes (3 or 4 tiered). We are able to use any size of diapers to suit your needs... so if a diaper cakes is needed for an older baby, or you prefer to have larger sizes of diapers, just let us know.
What are your sizes of diaper cakes? Most of the designs on our website are 2, 3 and 4 tiered designs, but we are able to make sizes from 1 tier up to 6 or 7 tiers.
Are all the diapers usable? Of course! The diapers are kept together using elastics and ribbon... no glue. Once we take the diapers out of the box, they are rolled as is, not opened up, so the inner portion of the diaper that rests against the precious baby is never touched (until baby uses it).
